COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS IMPOSED BY NSW GOVERNMENT

A maximum of 50 people (adults and children) can attend a religious service at a place of worship, plus the people necessary to conduct or assist in the conduct of, the service. However, the capacity must not exceed four square metres per person. The maximum applies to the whole of the venue, even where men and women worship in separate areas. People attending a religious service at a place of public worship will be required to provide their name and contact details when they enter so that they can be used for contact tracing.

We request that all people attending the Al-Jaafaria Shia Islamic Centre fill in the register at the front desk, and is recommended that those attending have the COVID safe app.
If any person is showing flu like symptoms, runny nose, headache, fever, sneezing, muscle and joint pain, or any respiratory illness please DO NOT ATTEND programs at the Al-Jaafaria Shia Islamic Centre for a period of two weeks, this includes the entire family.
IT IS YOUR DUTY TO CARE FOR THE COMMUNITY
It is your duty to follow the rules above and to protect the community from illness. If you or your family are in any risk do not enter the building until you have cleared all advised requirements by the NSW Health Department.
